Industrial hydrogen projects depend on more than equipment. Process technology, balance of plant, automation, safety, site integration and service all have to work together. Metacon supports the full chain, from feasibility and engineering to commissioning, operation and long-term support.
What we deliver
- Project development: feasibility, FEED, investment case input, system concepts and technology selection.
- Engineering and delivery: conceptual design, basic and detailed engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning.
- Automation and safety: in-house control systems, operator interfaces, safety systems and integration with your site environment.
- Lifecycle support: preventive maintenance, performance upgrades, remote monitoring where applicable, and long-term service.

With one contract party and one point of accountability, the project is easier to manage from the first study to long-term operation. Metacon can deliver a complete system or support selected project phases, using the same engineering and automation competence across the full delivery.
Global technology, European responsibility
Metacon delivers hydrogen production systems based on the selected technology, including pressurised alkaline electrolysis from partners such as PERIC Hydrogen Technologies and our own reforming technology. Each project is supported by European engineering, in-house automation and system responsibility from Metacon.
